Our name Alpha is taken from the initials of Alan & Pat Hartman the founders of the company.
Alpha Trophies is a family owned & run business that started trading from a basement in Leith, Edinburgh during 1978. This now makes us the second oldest supplier of trophies and engraving in Edinburgh. Today the company trades from premises of 2000 sq ft in Ferry Road, Edinburgh.
Changes in technology over this time have been staggering and from the well-known Taylor Hobson Pantograph beginning, we now boast of 9 computer engravers and our latest addition of epilog laser engravers.
Some of our customers have been with us from the beginning and we are proud that we have been able to keep pace and keep them happy for so long. Today Alpha Trophies are one of the countries largest suppliers of custom made medals & lapel pins. We now also welcome customers of Emslie's Badges who we invite to browse what we have to offer and we will gladly supply you.
We are based in Edinburgh but supply all over the U.K and worldwide.
We supply our customers with thousands of badges every year to specification at an affordable price.There is no minimum or maximum number we will supply 100 or 100,000 or more no problem.
Our product scope covers badge, lapel pin, tie bar, cuff links, money clip, personalised golf balls, promotional mugs, engraved medals and badges and various other promo items.
We also do custom laser engraving on glass, crystal, wood and acrylic and various other materials. As well as offering quality badges & medals, our main mission is to provide outstanding service and offer a very competitive pricing policy.
